What is the AI Seedance Video Generator?

What reference media can I add?

All references are optional. You can upload up to 9 images (JPEG, PNG, WebP), up to 3 videos (MP4, MOV), and up to 3 audio clips (WAV, MP3). Reference them in your prompt by number — for example, "use audio 1 as background music" or "match the camera movement from video 1". Audio can't be used on its own — include at least one reference image or video with it. Pure text-to-video with no references is fully supported.

What durations, resolutions, and aspect ratios are supported?

Videos run from 4 to 15 seconds. You can choose 480p, 720p, or 1080p output, and aspect ratios of 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9, or adaptive — so you can target YouTube, Reels, TikTok, or square social posts.

How long does video generation take?

Most videos finish in about 1 to 4 minutes depending on length and resolution. Generation runs in the background, so you'll see live progress through each step and the finished video appears automatically when it's ready.

Does it generate audio too?

Yes. Synchronized audio is generated by default, so your clip comes with matching sound. You can turn audio generation off if you only need the visuals.
