Merge PDF

AADDYY’s Merge PDF combines 2 to 50 PDF files into one document, right in your browser. Drag files into order, keep only the pages you need with ranges like 1-3 or 8-, and open password-protected files. It’s free, with no sign-up or watermark, and your files never leave your device.

How it works.

  1. Add your PDFs

Drop 2 to 50 PDF files onto the page or choose them from your device. Each file is checked on the spot and shows its page count.

  2. Set the order and pages

Drag the files, or use the arrow buttons, into the order you want. To use part of a file, type pages such as 1-3, 5 or 8-.

  3. Merge and download

Select Merge. Your browser builds the new PDF in seconds and saves it to your device. Nothing is uploaded at any point.

Options, explained.

File order
The merged PDF follows the list from top to bottom. Drag a file by its handle, or use the arrow buttons, which also work from the keyboard.
Pages
Leave it empty to include every page. Type 1-3 for a range, 5 for one page, 8- for page 8 to the end or 5-1 to reverse. Separate parts with commas; a page can appear twice.
Password-protected files
A locked file shows an Unlock button. Enter the password that opens it. The password is used only in this tab to read the file, and the merged PDF has no password.

Private by design.

Merge PDF runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read into this tab’s memory, processed by code running on your device and saved straight back to it. Nothing is uploaded, so there’s no queue to wait in and nothing to delete afterwards.

Like the rest of AADDYY, this page counts visits with analytics. The tool area is hidden from session recordings, and usage events record only counts and sizes, never file names or contents.

Questions.

Is Merge PDF free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no daily limit and no watermark on the merged file.

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser reads and merges the files on your device and saves the result back to it. No file data is sent to AADDYY or anyone else, which is also why no account is needed.

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

From 2 to 50 files in one go. There’s no fixed size cap, but very large files depend on your device’s memory: phones show a warning above 50 MB per file (25 MB on low-memory phones) and computers above 200 MB, and you can still continue.

Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?

Yes. Type a page range next to the file, such as 1-3, 5 or 8-. Pages are added in the order you type them, so 3, 1 puts page 3 first. Leave the box empty to include the whole file.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes, if you know the password. Locked files show an Unlock button; the password is used only in your browser to open the file, and the merged PDF is saved without one. PDFs that open without a password merge normally, even if they restrict editing.

Does merging reduce the quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The merged file is usually close to the combined size of the files you added.

Is anything lost when PDFs are merged?

Every page keeps its text, images and layout. Bookmarks (the outline in the sidebar) aren’t carried over, and fillable form fields may stop being editable, so finish filling in forms before you merge.

Which browsers does it work in?

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on computers, Android phones, iPhones and iPads. Browsers more than a few years old may not be able to run it.
